At the heart of MTI America beats a “We Care” culture that guides everything we do. Since 1992, we’ve been helping injured workers across the nation return to healthy, productive lives through compassionate, individualized care.

Our “We Care” philosophy was inspired by the personal experiences of co-founders Janet and Cem Kus. As a former catastrophic nurse case manager, Janet saw firsthand how unreliable transportation prevented injured workers from getting the treatment they needed. When Cem transported their first patient in 1992, they realized the major gap in workers’ compensation in quality, caring, and ancillary services.

From those humble beginnings, MTI has grown into a premier provider of integrated healthcare solutions. However, our “We Care” culture has remained constant – putting the injured worker first with empathetic, culturally competent care tailored to their unique situation.

The “We Care” mindset touches every aspect of our company, starting with investing in our people.

We Care Culture: Employee Engagement & Recognition​

SHINE​

MTI’s monthly SHINE publication highlights compliments received from various parties (providers, clients, injured workers, etc.). These compliments are shared with the entire organization by email. With employee permission, these compliments may be highlighted on the MTI website and/or social media channels.

Culture Committee​

MTI’s Culture Committee meets monthly to plan and execute meaningful experiences for all of our employees. A newsletter is distributed monthly highlighting events, activities, special days or weeks of the month, etc.

We Care Newsletter

MTI’s monthly We Care Newsletter highlights MTI’s greatest asset, our people. Warm birthday wishes are extended, anniversaries and milestones are recognized, and we celebrate the employee(s) of the month.

Service Milestones​

Tenure recognition is awarded in 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year milestones by senior leadership. Employees receive a plaque and gift with varying levels of value dependent on service.​
