Objective:

This course is an ideal opportunity to hear about the common workers’ compensation injuries to knees and hips requiring a total joint replacement. You will learn essential diagnostic testing to effectively diagnose the injury and conservative treatment to help minimize the injury and future recurrence. When conventional treatment has been exhausted, you will learn about the latest surgery procedures and effective treatment options available for knee and hip injuries. You will also hear discussion points to address underlying medical conditions that can and often enter into a worker’s compensation claim that is typically not work-related but may factor into the overall treatment and claim costs.
