Transport was requested for a post-operative injured worker/patient from Cedars Sinai to a Skilled Nursing Facility. This urgent situation also required a Bariatric Gurney Van for safe transport. The patient/injured worker was tested prior to release which found a medical condition that required medication prior to transport by MTI. These vans are not readily available usually but when the discharge nurse made the call later the same day, everything went as smoothly as possible. After 18 years and countless vendors, I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to send a referral or an email and actually receive a timely response.
